Team Leader Garret Machine
Covert Ops Training is under the command of Garret Machine, a
former soldier in the Israeli Defense Force (DF). Garret’s unit,
"Duvdevan", is the IDF's equivalent to the US Army's
Delta Force and specialized in undercover work, urban warfare,
targeted assassinations and kidnapping of wanted militants throughout
the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Following his Israeli military service, Garret worked as a field
bodyguard for the Israeli Ministry of Defense, which is the equivalent
of the US Secret Service. He was part of a unit that worked exclusively
in the West Bank, in high risk areas. He then joined the ranks
of the Israeli National Police Force, where he served until 2010.
Before moving to Israel, Miami-born Garret grew up in South Florida,
attended high school at the Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania
and received a degree from the University of Florida. While still
in the military, Garret earned a Masters Degree in Homeland Security
and Counter Terror Warfare from the Interdisciplinary Center in
Herzliya, Israel.
